GOOD READS:
Here’s a collection of articles that caught my attention this week.
Keith Sparkjoy: I worked with Keith years ago. He’s a visionary, passionate person and he just about hired me on the spot. I wish we still worked together. Here’s a brilliant post about how to have an argument in four grown-up steps.
KSL: I’ve been thinking about Salt Lake’s homelessness issue for years and it’s eating me up. Is there really a solution that encompasses compassion for addiction, mental illness, poverty, and loneliness? This series is shedding light on the problem without blame and it’s very insightful.
GOOD VIBES:
The new hottness in music that I found this week.
1 – Borderline
Tame Impala: Just a single. Check it out.
GOOD VIEWS:
Binge to you heart’s content.
Netflix: Directed by Brie Larsen. It’s cute and I related as a former art student, turned corporate creative who has a home filled with robot paintings. Although Brie’s character is searching for an icon that represents unconditional love—and I searched for (and found) a programmable relic capable of almost passing for real person with human feelings—her manic pixie wardrobe confusion scene was pretty relatable.
GOODNESS:
Self-care is sexy. Here’s the improvement making the rounds at Botfriendly.
PLANTS!!!
I planted a bunch of plants this past week. Heirloom tomatoes, peppers, basil, oregano, creeping flax, super bright pink geraniums. Blueberries! I love it.
